Gabrielle Barlatier - Producer/Actress

Gabrielle Barlatier is a Haitian American actor, writer, director, producer and CEO. Born and raised in a small town in New Jersey, where she was the only Haitian student in school, she always felt detached from her culture, seeking her identity, until she moved to South Florida. There she grew more connected to her culture and made it her life's work to use all her divine gifts, talents, and abilities to lift up her culture. As one of the producers of the first spiritual fantasy Haitian superhero film, NOU SE FÒS, she hopes this film can enrich the lives of Haiti’s futures generations, while telling the stories of our rich history, culture and spirituality; and ultimately bridging a gap among the Haitian diaspora.

Gabrielle projects this film will inspire Haitians to seek within themselves for the solutions we need as a people and a country. She believes the film will not only bring us back to our roots, but inspire and incite a shift in our identity and self-worth. Watching the tragedies that have occurred throughout Haiti’s history, Gabrielle believes the best form of healing is through art. She believes in the spiritual power of film and using the medium as a means to enlightenment for Haitians across the diaspora and in the homeland. From the writing to cinematography, and the creative genius which produced this revolutionary film, Gabrielle is most grateful to the creators and the Creator; and hopes to enhance the film more thoroughly with her contribution to the production.
